Re: Who were you in a past life?
Getting weird flashbacks would actually be cool, I think. I'd go for someone with a good and eventful life. Stevenson, maybe.
Re: Who were you in a past life?
Not really, as I understand it, but I could be wrong (how they figure out who's the next reincarnation of the Buddha still floors me).
I still don't know if I believe in reincarnation, because some of it sounds really hokey, but the fact one of my friends could say she had waking dreams of fighting in Vietnam, and during a past-life regression, she came up with a name of a soldier, and found that name on the Wall, did some additional research, and found a photo of the man she'd been dreaming she was for years, well. She was not related to this man, he wasn't even the same race, or from the same area she'd grown up in, there was no real way for her to know anything about this man, but she did. And that was...a little weird and wild, and, frankly, Wow.
I've been told some of my more peculiar dreams point to me being a Native American Shaman in a former life (again, I take all that with a grain of salt, because while I'm willing to believe my friend's experience, until something that concrete happens with me? Yeaaaaaah, okay).
