On the other hand, in many countries is a must if you want to have any chance of a decent job and letting it wait can be even worse (someone over 30 without job experience in whatever they finally studied doesn't have any chance to get a job).
I'm suffering for it right now and even though it wasn't my choice, but some serious issues, and I really wish I had been able continue my formal education when I was at the right age.

I think it's not the case for OP and I'm glad they took the right decision for them, but it's better not to proclaim something "a lie" and better to just point that in some case it may not be true and it's better to analyze the situation in a case by case basis.
