Frank Capone and Nelson van Alden from Boardwalk Empire. Seriously, just LOOK AT THEM. Frank spends almost every interaction with Nelson checking him out and smirking to himself, getting waaay closer than Nelson is used to people getting, and generally just really wanting Nelson to be around, for no reason other than...I dunno, I guess Frank just finds him hot. And while Frank isn't someone Nelson trusts, he's pretty much the first person who seems to like having him around.

And yeah, Frank doesn't make it through the whole season. But they even tie his death into Nelson. That look of utter betrayal and hatred he gives him when he sees Nelson go for his gun...It should've made even more delicious fanwork, all the drama, all the feels (all the "happyverse" AUs).


Instead, there is nothing but a few photosets.

What I'm saying is Boardwalk Empire needs a bigger fandom.
