I feel you. Some of my fandoms have a proportion of gen to shippyfic that is close to 1:100. I wouldn't mind that so much if they weren't so damn tiny that the gen part consists of, like, 0.02 of a story.

In mine, it feels like it's 1:1000. Of course part of that might be because some authors mark their stories as gen *and* m/m or f/m, so I scroll through the fake gen and feel my blood pressure rising.
