I loved Obi-Wan - Ewan McGregor was perfect for the role. I loved Palpatine & Maul & being in the universe again. But the movies were a huge disappointment for me because they COULD HAVE BEEN so much better.

To each their own & all, but to me, the original trilogy is still the best. Probably because it's what I grew up on. (And because it's just better.)

I loved Obi-Wan - Ewan McGregor was perfect for the role.

He really was. You could tell how much he loved the role and how dedicated he was to getting it right. The thing I love most is that he rarely does Force-gestures with a flat hand. Most of the other actors do, but he almost always has his hand loose and his fingers slightly curled, just the way Alec Guinness did.
