Is anyone in America actually waiting g for PBS to air season three f Sherlock? All I see is people acquiring it via other means it makes me feel oddly puritan.

Don't know how it is in the US, but some people here (me included) bought a season's pass on i-tunes, so that's a legal way to watch it (new episodes are added the night/the day after they aired).

But yeah, I mean, if you don't care about the fandom and don't have any blogs you watch where spoilers get posted and don't care enough to watch it as soon as it comes out, I don't see why you shouldn't wait to watch it on PBS.

DA - Yeah, I would normally wait too, but I do tumblr, and it is FLOWING with spoilers (and not all of it tagged, ugh).

Why bother? The delay is stupid. If it was airing within a slightly reasonable amount of time, that would be one thing, but they aren't even going to air the first episode until later this month, after all three episodes have already aired. There's no reason for that kind of lag time between the UK and the US.

I'm waiting, but I'm not really in the fandom, so I'm not desperate to watch ASAP for fandom reasons. As it is, it's hardly a long wait. Only one more week now.

Even if I still lived in America, I wouldn't bother waiting. I would rewatch them when they aired properly though.

I'm too impatient to wait that long. (Even if it isn't that long.) Plus, I couldn't log into my tumblr account without being completely spoiled (and screw that!).

However if you can avoid spoilers, don't mind spoilers, or just aren't that excited for the episodes in general the wait makes sense. There have to be other people who are waiting.
