(Anonymous) 2014-01-13 01:03 am (UTC)(link)And really, the biggest issue I had was the thing about Padme "not knowing" that she was pregnant with twins. All of that technology and they didn't know? Come on! I still just pushed that aside so that I could enjoy the reverence I felt while watching Luke and Leia being born and knowing what their lives would become.
I'm still sad that Padme died and I just crumbled inside when we had to watch Anakin go bad. I didn't think there was any way for Uncle George to take that sweet, smart, determined, and lovestruck boy from Episode I and turn him into a man that force chokes his underlings.
Pretty much once Mace was killed, I spent the rest of Episode III in tears and feeling like my childhood just fell apart around me. You know, even though I was a 14-20 when these movies were released.
