Excuse me, but Imma need to be over here letting this out . . .

I was really starting to think that I was the only person that enjoyed the prequels. The other fans of the originals tend be so elitist and negative regarding them. Other than my annoyance with the growing pains whining in Episode II, I think they movies were mostly perfect. Hayden really owned that shit when he went Vader. I was utterly sold on Qui-Gon's and Obi-Wan's actions and how much they wanted Anakin to be this huge wonderful thing for The Force.

And really, the biggest issue I had was the thing about Padme "not knowing" that she was pregnant with twins. All of that technology and they didn't know? Come on! I still just pushed that aside so that I could enjoy the reverence I felt while watching Luke and Leia being born and knowing what their lives would become.

I'm still sad that Padme died and I just crumbled inside when we had to watch Anakin go bad. I didn't think there was any way for Uncle George to take that sweet, smart, determined, and lovestruck boy from Episode I and turn him into a man that force chokes his underlings.

Pretty much once Mace was killed, I spent the rest of Episode III in tears and feeling like my childhood just fell apart around me. You know, even though I was a 14-20 when these movies were released.
