It has everything to do with not wanting to think or read about being pregnant and finding it creepy as hell and dysphoria inducing.

Explain. I know trans men and not one of them has this over the top disgust. Generally they feel the same way I do about it, that they Do Not Want for their own body but feel whatever for everyone else in the world and that it's a natural no big thing. And they all have no problems with actual children, though two of us never want kids ourselves we don't find them some kind of "bags of disease" or whatever weirdo thing you said.

It's childish and a serious problem if you honestly think all the things you put in your reply upthread. It's one thing to think that it would be completely awful to be pregnant yourself, and yes the dysphoria is incredibly valid, but to go on to say all of the extreme weird stuff you said? Really unhealthy and a problem.

I don't have over the top disgust with other people, but I'm dysphoric as fuck about sex in general... pregnancy is a whole other level of wrong. I tried to explain that in my post, but I guess it didn't come across I can manage to not have to think about it or deal with it when it's just someone random on the street or a random image. I do have disgust when it's shoehorned into something I was enjoying, like television, fiction, what have you. In situations like that I can't avoid it and the idiotic moralizing and inaccurate portrayals that generally surround it.

And it's especially bad if it's unexpectedly in a fic, because then I've already got my imagination going, and that just inevitably leads to me imagining the process. Uggh.

Pregancy is creepy?

Better everyone stop being pregnant and let the species die out because apparently the most natural thing in the world is creeeeeeeepy

I find the idea alien and totally incorrect for how my brain is telling me my body is supposed to function. So yeah, creepy. I'm not sure how else I'd describe it.

And wow, we are so incredibly far from dying out as a species that even if 100% of us didn't reproduce for five years we'd still have more than enough humans to go around.

DA
The childish aspect comes from not understanding that "creepy for my body" does not equal "creepy as a whole". It is understandable why you would find the idea unsettling for yourself, but not being able to differentiate and having such strong negative feelings for pregnancy as a whole and for pregnant people or the topic anywhere ever, that is a problem and that is imo a childish attitude.

I already said several times that I'm able to deal with it in irl settings. It's not childish to not want to have something that makes me physically uncomfortable in my entertainment. If you think it is, maybe you should go bother a bunch of rape survivors for not wanting to hear about rape in their leisure time.

da here and I agree with you but I don't see how pregnancy is more natural than other natural things
