It's an incredibly beautiful game, and fully voiced, too. Hard on the 3DS battery though.

It's not a large-scale thing, though. Like, I'm running it with two confederates and nine participants. Eventually I want to expand it and add rules that comply with the game (ex. Player 6 can contact me at any time for answers to puzzles and is allied with 3, Player 2 receives extra information and is allied with 4, and Player 1 is trying to figure out who has the extra information but knows that if they reveal themselves as the hunter the other players will refuse to go with them through doors).

HI SO OKAY you were the one who got me to play 999 in the first place with the secret you made a thousand years ago, and then you got an account and told me to tell you what I thought of it, and I never did tell you because I was like "aaaaaaaaahhh it's been forever, so awkward" but now I am here to tell you THANK YOU. I thought the game did explain Schrodinger's cat well, so glad it helped it you :) I think the game was pretty through with its notes describing all the philosophical aspects.

I can't wait for the third game.

999 did end on a bad cliffhanger. The series is evil.

Eh, 999 ended on a loltastic cliffhanger. (I seriously was cracking up SO HARD at the shot of the mysterious hitchhiker... XD) VLR, on the other hand...

At first, I got to the "regular" ending and was like "Oh. Okay then, guess we're cool!"

Then I got to the extra ending and was like "wait what? That doesn't make any... ...... DDDDDDD:"

(Man, I really should make some Zero Escape icons.)

I knooooow, I just replayed VLR recently and got all depressed when I finished and couldn't keep going with the story, and then felt silly for having played it when I knew that that would happen. Zero Escape gives me complicated emotions.

It's just complicated in general, man. I was sitting there feeling all smart because I somehow managed to figure out a couple of the big plot twists before they were revealed in the big ending sequence, and then they tack on a couple extra scenes and suddenly I have ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE what's going on anymore. ;_;
