Oh, no, as a character she was deliciously evil if you ignore the last five minutes of that episode. I would've loved her if she was, I don't know, Olive Cornell or something else with the initials OC. As Irene Adler, nope, not buying it. Irene was smarter than Sherlock. Irene was trustworthy (that was a pretty major part of her character). IRENE WAS NOT SHERLOCK HOLMES' GIRLFRIEND AND SHE DIDN'T WANT TO BE! I liked the character in BBC's Sherlock, but not as Irene.

yeah, I loked her as a new character, but not as Irene Adlee. Sherlock and John are true to canon so the show could do better.
