But that doesn't make any sense? Why wouldn't they kill off one of the members of said pairing because of all of them if that was an issue?

I stopped shipping Miles/Charlie after I became convinced (and still am) that he's her father. Still waiting for that reveal!

I think half of the fandom is waiting for that reveal. I'm kind of mad we didn't get any flashbacks these past two episodes.

I half-wonder about it myself sometimes. Did you notice in the latest episode that Charlie and Miles have almost identical "Sneak up and take down someone from behind" moves? If that isn't Generation Xerox showing up...

They've been pushing it a lot this season. Episode 9 was the biggest hint when 6 years before the Blackout, basically the time of Charlie's conception, we know there was something going on between Miles and Rachel.

Then Bass says to Miles "like you wouldn't do the same for Charlie" in this past episode. Charlie was good in last night's episode, I was excited for that.

TBQH I think I'm okay with them never actually saying it out loud that Charlie is actually Miles's and Rachel's. Given that DNA testing is impossible after the Blackout, and Charlie already looks on Miles like a father figure of sorts, the hints are probably enough. :)

But ngl, if they DID do this kind of reveal, I'd be still a bit surprised.

my hope is that if they do this kind of reveal, they don't just push Ben aside. He raised Charlie and that has to count for something. I hate how much the writers are forcing Rachel/Miles on us and we have no idea what happened in Philly while she was there. But Miles confessed his love for her and now they are all cute and cuddly on the fun roadtrip to get baby Monroe.
