1) The Dothraki are no more or less ignorant (to the lives of those in other 'countries') than any typical person is about those in other countries in the real world. Nor are than any more or less ignorant than the people in Westeros are about the people not in Westeros.

2) The Dothraki are just as savage as the people of Westeros sending thousands and thousands of men to fight in battles for a freaking crown and kingdom

3) The Dothraki are just as sexist as the Westerosi society.

4) It isn't as if rape is something that happens solely in the Dothraki culture. It happens to many women in the Westerosi culture as well.
