I don't think so. Thanks god Moffat isn't into awful Doctor/companion love like RTD was. One Rose was too much.

There was some ridiculous romantic tension on the Pond front that got resolved midway.

He isn't into the Doctor reciprocating the feelings, but he seems to believe that everyone is in love with the Doctor even more than RTD did. Amy crushed on him, Clara does, and a whole lot of one-off characters do as well.

And River.

Well, yes, but that's the one time Eleven returned the feelings, and we already knew they had a thing back in Ten's era, so it feels different. And if it were just her, I wouldn't have a problem. Plus, it felt more like actual love than just crushing on him because he's the Doctor and awesome and of course everyone loves him.

I'd put it in the same category as Nine/Ten and Rose (even though I don't actually like that pairing) rather than the everyone crushes on the Doctor category.

Did he return her feelings? Because from what I remember (though my watch of Moffat-ere has been spotty at best) he married her to stop some catastrophe & doesn't care about using her to his plots etc. She yeah, he cares about her but it never felt like he was actually returning her feelings.

Idk, I just felt like it was super skeevy with all the problematic stuff Moffat managed to pull in Doctor/River. (Never let him see you age, let me break my wrist for you, you are the reason I'm what i am, the whole obsession thing/rising to be to Doctor's liking and so forth.)

He at least had some romantic attraction to her. How far you think that went is based on interpretation, but he kisses her, several times worries about his appearance when he knows she is going to be there, and clearly has a similar reaction to her death and the ghost version of her that Ten had to losing Rose. There is at least some attraction and reciprocation there.
