I think you describe the sort of H/C I like. I get tired of hurt after hurt after hurt, especially if it's coupled with lots of sex as the comfort, but then I don't like really long and drawn-out healing either.

I do however like if there is sex, but not healing cock. Like sex is a sign that things will get better, but they're not totally fixed yet.
