I don't get it. Do slash fangirls feel the need to be represented as twig bitches with expensive fashion sense? Because I've got to be honest. The only slash fangirls I've ever met were either young enough to have fast metabolisms or largely fat and wearing hoodies. Or is it just the effect of seeing weight on television that doesn't happen to be shaped as flattering? Because she looks pretty effing normal to me. Kinda sad in this picture, but then again I've not seen this episode...

How about they don't mention them at all? I hate the 4th wall breaking, personally. I hate it when they bring fandom into shows. And I'm not even a slash fangirl.

But this incarnation of Sherlock has done this before. I understand you don't like it, but it was not a stylistic break (nor was this person singled out to be ridiculed).

I must have repressed that. I don't remember it happening on Sherlock before. Not saying you're wrong - I just don't remember it.

This picture is not from Sherlock, but a show called My Mad Fat Diary. The main character is clinically depressed (among other issues). Kinda sad makes sense, wouldn't it?
