What even is the European stereotype? Considering that the stereotypes of the different nations are opposites a lot of the time (just look at France, Germany, the British, and Italy) I'm not sure what the European stereotype would even be.

Sounds like the opposite of the stereotypes of East European countries, like Poland or Romania, tbh. Guess ~European~ only means West Europe.
