Isn't there a male birth control pill in development?

There have been several in development over the years but a lot of the men who take place in the trials complain about the side effects (which are mostly the same ones that women already deal with)

Yes, why would men not want to have these terrible side effects women hate to deal with. : /

But it's okay for women to have to deal with them?

The post I saw was talking about how the male birth control pills were giving men symptoms similar ro PMS, and "oh no we can't have that~" but the fact is, any medication that causes negative symptoms on most of the testing groups needs to be reworked. If it was a smaller percentage? I don't think anyone would care, because shit happens, but most? And for birth control of all thinfs? Not worth it imo.

Uhhhh, it isn't like it is a pill giving them to you. It is your bodies natural responses. Do you want them to do some genetic engineering on you to fix it?

Yes, but it's a lot more complicated to stop conception from the male end, so it's still a work in progress.

I mean, with females, you only have to protect one egg, males you have to stop millions/billions (cant remwmber exacy numver) of sperm. It's complicated.

Even better than a pill, they're working on (and if I understand correctly, already have in India) a gel that's injected that keeps a man infertile, yet can be flushed out at a later time to restore fertility.

Why the hell this is not more commonly known about is beyond me.

DA--I remember that! And it could be dissolved by drinking... I don't remember, baking soda in water, or some other common household chemical. But the article I read mentioned that guys were leery of anything being injected into their junk, so it'd be a hard (no pun intended) sell... goes to google... it's called Vasalgel, and it works by killing sperm as they pass through the vas deferens.
