Absolutely write down all of your questions! That's what I do and I go to the doctor every year. Write down anything and everything and feel free to ask them.

Generally, my yearly physical includes blood work, weight/height check, blood pressure, pulse, etc. As far as blood work, I usually have to go a week before hand to have the blood drawn, this way we can discuss the results while we're in the physical because I have two things they just monitor every year.

So ask your doctor when you book what their procedure is for blood work and if it is a fasting blood work. Mine is usually fasting so that they get an accurate read on blood sugar and cholesterol, I believe.
