I don't blame you for being bitter. No one should get stabbed in the arm (or anywhere) because they prefer a different TV series.

I love BBC Sherlock, enjoy Granada's Sherlock Holmes, and love plenty of other versions of Holmes and Watson... I think it's insane how serious people get over which one is better. Why can't people enjoy what they enjoy without other people taking so much umbrage over it all?

I'm pretty sure she had other issues. It's just that her insanity chose to manifest itself at that particular moment.
