That's the fandom that hosted a meetup a year ago where a girl stabbed me in the arm with a pen so hard that she actually drew blood because I dared say that Granada and Jeremy Brett were better than Beeblock and Benedict Notevenclose. And maybe I'm a little bitter and maybe I'm overreacting. But seriously, I got stabbed in the arm.

That is really awful. I'm sorry to hear you had such a bad experience - people can be wtf crazy. If it makes you feel better, at least you were right, Jeremy Brett is a better Sherlock Holmes than Cumberbatch.
