Those jokes always make me smile because it's so much rarer to find people who fangirl Thor over Loki. (Also: May and Thor together? UNF.)

Though I DO think the show mentioned Loki having fans, too? (In the episode set immediately after Thor: The Dark World?) Don't quote me on it, but I could swear that Loki was mentioned as having fans at some point... Just, you know, not by SHIELD. Which makes sense.

No, the only way Loki's even really been brought up was in regards to Coulson being shanked by him.

Huh, I must've imagined that bit...

I thought Coulson mentioned Thor and Loki having fanclubs at one point (not LITERALLY, just as a reference to their fans) and made a face when mentioning Loki (like, "IDK what the hell is wrong with them either". Hey, some people love serial killers, it isn't impossible!).

...Did I dream this? I should dream sexier MCU stuff. Fuck.

Just pulled up episode eight and took a quick look at the spots that I could imagine such a conversation happening, and all that I found was the talk of the Norse paganists who are obsessed with Norse myth in the wake of New York and Greenwich. Nothing about Thor and Loki fanclubs specifically.
