My life.

My health. I went out last night for karaoke and was having a great time, until about an hour into the fun, the nausea came back big time, and I tried singing another song anyway... had to stop after the first chorus and go out for some air. In -20 wind chill weather, so I wound up just going home. :/

And both last night and the night before I actually slept really well, without waking up feeling awful multiple times (and until you have a chronic health condition, you have NO IDEA how amazing it feels to be able to wake up in the middle of the night, not feel awful, and just take a small drink and turn over and go back to sleep with no drama). But then the second I actually get up, headache and nausea come roaring back.

Comic releases being pushed back.

Well, it has a happyish ending, but I posted a fic to a fest and for days, not one person responded. However, it's a quiet fest so I think people have just been slow to notice. I was a bit worried for a while that it was worse than I thought.

"Must have experience" in job ads.

My response? "Must go screw yourself."

What happened to entry level positions?

The steak i got at the local steak-house when i took my best bff out to eat on her birthday. It was *not* cooked rare, and it had almost zero flavor.
*sigh*

The potatoes were good, though.

The cat's breakfast I made of my first seminar presentation.

My productive procrastination today. I'd been doing pretty well this week.

This poutine I bought from the Burger King against my better judgement. Why does it taste like doritos, man.

A fic I've been following with great enthusiasm just posted its final epilogue chapter and it was a...really confusing, bitter ending to what had been a fairly upbeat story the whole way through, and I was left feeling distinctly disappointed about it. It felt a lot like the author saying "if people don't like it that must mean I did it right~~" which is sort of a sloppy approach to an ending. So I'm basically cutting that last bit out of memory and assuming the second-to-last chapter is the actual final chapter.

Only minor disappointment, since I did like it, and wasn't expecting to like it as much as the game, but the Devil Survivor 2 anime.

I'm glad they changed the story up a good deal, for various reasons, but I was still disappointed that I didn't get to see several scenes from the game fully animated.

My vagina. Or rather, my inability to remember to re-up on the birth control ring at the right time. Hello, 8 days of condoms.
