Same. I really liked the movies as a kid, but it took until I was teenager watching them to go "Holy crap! These are amazing! Look at that animation! Listen to that music!" And then I'd invite my friends over just to rewatch Disney films I'd just "rediscovered" and they were like "umm... kay, this is nice? I guess?"
