I actually like Disney a lot better as an adult than I did as a kid. I don't think it's a nostalgia thing for me. But I adore animation in general, again, more so now than when I was little, so that probably has a lot to do with it.

Same. I really liked the movies as a kid, but it took until I was teenager watching them to go "Holy crap! These are amazing! Look at that animation! Listen to that music!" And then I'd invite my friends over just to rewatch Disney films I'd just "rediscovered" and they were like "umm... kay, this is nice? I guess?"

Me too to be honest. And I am the right sort of age for going to see The Lion King at the cinema and for it to have really seized my imagination - so there is an element of childhood nostalgia with that. But little girl me really couldn't stand the singing and also romance in most Disney films so I found them an endurance rather than entertaining!

Now I'm an adult I don't mind! And yes I appreciate the animation too.

yep. I appreciate films like Hunchback and Tarzan that I didnt care much for as a child, and as someone wanting to go into the animation industry, the techniques used for the films are fun to study

Me too, there's a little bit of nostalgia with it for me as well but I've also found that as an adult I enjoy them just as much for the stories and animation.

Yeah, this. I mean, no, I loved Disney as a child, sure. But as an adult, I think I appreciate it in a different way, and not just through nostalgia. I appreciate the movies, and especially the old shorts that don't seem to play as often. That could have something to do with studying a lot about animation, sequential art, character design, etc in college, but as an adult I can appreciate even the stuff that bored me, like Sleeping Beauty, which I think is pretty fantastic now, and all the nuance and effort that goes into most Disney work.

And don't even get me started on the Parks... Oh man, you want people are are putting effort into making everything as cool and "magical" as it can possibly be, it's the artists and "imagineers" and whatnot making sure that every little detail in the park is something clever and creative, just walking around on the street. It's people who really do go, "Okay, so how much fun can we make this?" and then just go and do it.

I just really love creative effort like that.

Same. As a kid, they were pretty cool movies, but they were just some of the many movies I watched. As an adult, I can really appreciate the music and the animation and storytelling.
