How could it have been a well-kept secret if she had THREE CHILDREN with him? You'd think the cat would be out of the bag by that point. What, did he keep her cloistered in some secret royal part of Erebor? Lord knows why she was up for it, don't elves only love once?

For my part I think they're just funny-looking Dwarves. XD If there was some different blood in the family tree I'd be more inclined to think ti was human!
