I don't know if this counts, but when Glinda tells Dorothy that only bad witches are ugly, it doesn't mean tht attractive witches can't be evil, just that good witches are attractive. So when she asks Dorothy if she's a good witch or a bad witch, it's because Dorothy is not ugly that she asks that
