Arrgh, it's killing me that I can't remember which Travis McGee book has him watching reruns of MASH in a hotel room and thinking about her - he strength and energy and the fact that she's perpetually frozen in time, running towards the wounded. He wonders what the actress who played her thinks of it all. It's really touching.

It seems like she made a big impression on a lot of people.
