Re: Movie vs television shows

I like long plot arcs, but also can't stand sitting and just WATCHING stuff for very long at one time - non-interactive media tends to make me restless and bored. So I prefer television, as it's usually broken down into hour-or-less chunks that are over before I get too impatient, but often have some continuity, so stuff from previous episodes can show up again and so on instead of everything having to be resolved within 2, maybe 3 hours of plot. I really only ever watch movies if I've got something else to do at the same time, like sewing or playing a handheld video game, or if I'm really incredibly sick and literally can't do anything but passively watch media.
