They are far from perfect and I probably wouldn't care to read about them today, but I will always have a special place in my heart for Rogue and Gambit. Also a love for Mystique. (All of this pre-movie characterizations)

I'm going to come out of left field and say Captain Haddock from TinTin

J'onn J'onzz, King Faraday, Alfred Pennyworth, Lois Lane and Lucifer Morningstar, from DC.

Mystique, Rogue, Nightcrawler and, recently, James Rhodes, from Marvel.

Courtney Crumrin and Abe Sapien, from slightly further afield.

Timothy Drake! My FAVOURITE Robin. The scary, paranoid, genius-detective Robin. The kid who made up secret identities he could use as his 'civilian identity' when he was with a team, the kid who has masks under his mask, the kid who LIES TO BATMAN and literally as a 12-year-old deduced who Batman was and that he needed a Robin. Tim is awesome.

I'm also a big Superman fan, but only as handled in certain books by certain writers; he's hard to get right but when he is he's my fave, and imho none of the movies have gotten it right, and the 'Lois and Clark' show was the closest.

Lois Lane.

Bobby Drake from Marvel. Like most (well, every) X-men character, he's been given shitty writing at various points but he's still one of my favorites

Miles Morales and Helena Bertinelli.

Jaime Reyes, Guy Gardner, Cacofonix (Asterix), or Darkwing Duck because he had a comic it counts yes.

Wolverine!

...Hmm, maybe Barbara Gordon? I also really love the cast of Authority (especially Jenny Sparks and Midnighter), Kate Bishop, Renee Montoya, and most recently Alana and Marko from Saga and Betty and Violet from Rat Queens.

Seconding the love for Haddock. My favourite Franco-Belgian comics characters also include Yoko Tsuno (badass WOC protag!!) and Gaston Lagaffe (because muh childhood).

I love so many comics characters, but I'll keep this short:

Favorite Superhero: Kate Kane/Batwoman. Hands down.
Favorite Marvel Superhero, to be somewhat fair: Kitty Pride. I kind of imprinted on her when I was like 12.
Non-superhero, DC/Marvel: Tie for the whole Reyes family from the pre-nu52 DC Blue Beetle. Because they rock.
Outside the big 2: Currently, Princess Adrienne from Princeless. But there's some stiff competition there.

Emma Frost. Miles Morales. Daken. Pretty much all the Maximoffs. (Well, at least Wanda, Pietro, and Lorna.) Natasha. Carol Danvers. Uh... I think that's it? Maybe?

Toss up between Thor, Spiderman, Storm and Scarlet Witch.

Kon El/Superboy, Tim Drake, Kate Bishop, and Ceasar from Asterix. And Majestix's wife, whoe English name I'm too lazy to look up. :P

For the record, I don't actually read comics for the most part, I just like reading about them, so what I know comes from wikis and cartoons.

For DC, I'll second Jaime Reyes, I've liked him in the cartoons he's in, and it kind of disappoints me that he'll get a comic series that only lasts for a little while before being canceled.

For Marvel I'm going with Beta Ray Bill, not entirely sure why I seem drawn to him but I really find him interesting. Sort of surprised he doesn't get more attention or at the very least act as Thor's backup in the Avengers, he seems capable enough. I know he's currently with the Annihilators, but it seems odd that he doesn't know work more often in groups, considering how Marvel likes to have multiple Avengers teams going on at once, but then again he appears to work primarily in space so that may be the reason.
