It might have something to do with your computer or browser settings or the image you are trying to upload.

In case it helps, here's how the process works for me:

I click on the button at the upper right that says "computer" under "upload images." Then a window pops up that lets me browse my computer for the file I want. I double click on it and then another window pops up that lets me choose to browse for more images or I can click "start upload" down at the lower right of the pop-up. I wait a few seconds while it uploads and then the page refreshes so now it shows my uploaded image with a list of codes to use to display the image in various formats down the right.
