In terms of gore, I'd say it was a guy who'd just been shot in the chest and ended up collapsed in my living room. I wasn't particularly fazed by it, though. A paramedic even complimented how I kept my cool in that situation. All of that guy's blood took a while to get out of the carpet, though thankfully it came off my arms pretty easily.

In terms of depressing, when I was about 11, I was waiting at the schoolbus stop with my friends when this random baby ran out into the middle of the street. I managed to run out into the street and grab the baby before it was hit by anything and kind of just sat it on the patch of grass by the stop, assuming that there was probably a parent around somewhere about run out and grab it. My bus pulled up and I got on, but as the bus was pulling away, I looked out and a.) saw that there was NO ONE around to pick up that baby, and b.) it had gotten up and started running again, though thankfully this time down the sidewalk.

Never found out what happened to it.
