I grew up hearing Mum say dark chocolate is awful, but then found a small packet of dark chocolate pieces around the 50% mark and decided it was not bad.

Some time later I started occasionally getting blocks of dark chocolate and eventually convinced Mum that her long-time aversion was wrong.

I only like the lighter types of dark chocolate - up into the early 50% area, but not far over. I did try some in the 70% area but it was too dark for me.

I don't mind white chocolate, but it can, very frequently, be too sweet.

I have a huge fondness for Lindt Sea Salt dark chocolate. Mildly dark (50%-ish) with a touch of salt in it.
