Lunches: stirfry is good re-heated and you can make a bunch and portion it out for the week or a few days. Rice, veggies, lean meats if it's your thing. Nice and filling and simple.

Gym: does your gym have any classes you could join? Maybe mix it up with some yoga or weights or anything that'll just change it up a bit. Variety is good for you and keeps you interested.

If you're looking for at home workouts I have a bunch of links to free youtube vids and stuffm but not sure if you want those?
starphotographs: This field is just more space for me to ramble and will never be used correctly. I am okay with this! (Ginko (default))

...You just reminded me that I haven't had stirfry in a while! Gonna have to make some soon. :)

Here are two huge resource posts for YouTube fitness vids:

This one isn't videos but still I've found it a helpful tag to look through:

The only class they have is Zumba. Maybe once I lose a bit of weight and become less self conscious I will join it. But I hate looking at that mirrored wall in front of you when in that room.

I'll look into stir fry. I love rice and chicken. Could probably find some nice veggies and spices to add in. Fortunately I got plenty of tupperware!

Ugh yes the dreaded mirror wall. I feel you there.

For my stirfry I keep it super simple. I get frozen veggies and just throw a bunch in a bit wok or skillet: string and wax beans, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, sugar snap peas and just cook it all up with a bit of olive oil. If you eat meat then cook the chicken first and then throw the veggies on top and it'll turn out fine. Sometimes I throw the rice in the pan with all the veggies, sometimes I mix it separately. I don't add any spices other than pepper and maybe salt, but I know some people spice it up more. It's really simple and filling. No messing with sauces or anything like that.

Good luck!

I know it's hard, but try and push past that. Seriously, everybody else there is staring at their *own* body and/or (if you're like me) desperately trying to do the dance steps right. (I am really, really bad at that stuff.)

And you can just stare at your feet and imagine slowly working up from there as you get more fit. Good luck!
