I hate it when fan artists make make characters the opposite of what they are physically in canon - often just drawing all men and women the same and changing a few facial features to make it this or that character - and just handwave it as their 'style' instead of them being too lazy to actually draw a character the way they are.

Kurosaki Ichigo? Yes, he's muscular, but he's also tall and very slender. He does not have a barrel-chest and is nothing close to stocky like Gimli the dwarf. Like wise with Kuchiki Byakuya, Abarai Renji and Kenpachi. All tall, kinda skinny dudes - with a lot of extra muscle in Renji and Kenpachi's cases. Kuchiki Rukia? Does not have big boobs. I know some people draw her with them deliberately to point it out for humor or to make her "extra sexy", but some just draw her with way bigger boobs than she actually has like it's normal.

Uzumaki Naruto and Rock Lee? Yes, they are also muscular, but less like Schwarzenegger and more like Bruce Lee. Likewise to Rukia, Haruno Sakura does not have big boobs.

You should not be able to take three pictures, each containing a shirtless Cas, Dean or Sam, decapitate them, play musical heads, and not be able to tell any heads are on the wrong body when you compare them to before.

Movie-verse Thor is buff, but his torso is not a square equally as wide as it is tall. Loki is less buff than Thor, but not to the point he'd be indistinguishable from Sheldon Cooper despite all the fic of him being a wilting flower. Likewise with Tony Stark. He isn't as buff as the other Avengers because he doesn't need to be, but c'mon he works out and has to be a certain level of capable and fit to operate his armor.

This bugs me too, but not to the extent it does you. I can enjoy fanart that doesn't properly portray the characters build, especially their muscles. In the artists' defenses getting the muscle structureright and make sure it doesn't look wonky is hard.

Most of my fandoms are anime fandoms and it seems on both sides of the fandoms, finding artists who can draw, for example, Rock Lee with muscles is difficult. Doesn't stop me from liking all the adorable Lee aet though..

I can deal with muscles being a bit off, I know people are learning to draw and the human figure is really hard, but again, there's a big difference between the muscles Bruce Lee has (who Rock Lee is based on in canon) and Schwarzenegger's.

Oh my god, I feel you so much on this. I used to be friends with someone in my fandom (who has thankfully moved on to another fandom) who would blatantly take reference pictures (usually porn) and basically draw the characters' heads on traced bodies. The bodies would not look anything like the canon bodies and the characters would end up looking pretty ridiculous.
