This bugs me too, but not to the extent it does you. I can enjoy fanart that doesn't properly portray the characters build, especially their muscles. In the artists' defenses getting the muscle structureright and make sure it doesn't look wonky is hard.

Most of my fandoms are anime fandoms and it seems on both sides of the fandoms, finding artists who can draw, for example, Rock Lee with muscles is difficult. Doesn't stop me from liking all the adorable Lee aet though..

I can deal with muscles being a bit off, I know people are learning to draw and the human figure is really hard, but again, there's a big difference between the muscles Bruce Lee has (who Rock Lee is based on in canon) and Schwarzenegger's.
