Everyone is different, but for me there isn't really any time in between, there's one and then it just kind of... keeps going. I usually don't count but I think I once got to 20 something before losing track. I don't know how long it would last because I always get to the point where I'm like 'alright, that's enough' and just stop even though I'm kind of in the middle and not technically 'done'. It's kind of hard to describe.

But yeah, I definitely don't think it's normal or that you're doing anything wrong. Some people are just weird, I guess (me, not you).

Oh, and I also use a clitoral vibrator, for the record. Vaginal penetration doesn't do anything for me either. Anal, on the other hand...
