I personally like them, I've got both the Avengers Thor and Loki ones, but I can certainly see how they cross into uncanny valley territory.

I have the Loki one. The Thor didn't appeal to me. My husband has a Boba Fett 1/6th scale and the Mythos Statue(which is absolutey gorgeous). And his 1/6th scale Darth Vadar just arrived last week. Heh.
