Re: Examples of subtle ways to show closeness in live action TV and movies

I like the little physical gestures the best, the ones you know the characters don't think about at all but clearly wouldn't engage in with anyone else but those close to them. Like casually sitting shoulder-to-shoulder when there's plenty of space to sit apart, or automatically falling back-to-back in a fight (in a more action/adventure story, two fighters use each other's moves to drive their own without planning or discussion, moves you know must have taken hours of practice together, but they're so accustomed to it that it's nothing now), thoughtless pats on the shoulder or fist-bumps.

Also things like getting their stuff accidentally mixed up or borrowing things from each other without asking and it's not a problem, as a sign of how often they share space. Petty fights, the kind you only get between friends and family who've spent so much time together that they're annoyed by little things, and they're bickering all the live long day, but it's never serious. I dunno, I feel like there's more, but that's all I can think of.
