I won't lie -- I kind of crave fanfic where Anna is straight, Elsa is gay, and Anna gets entirely too enthusiastic about matchmaking and finding a girl for Elsa, while completely overlooking the things Elsa's fretting about, like the political difficulties involved in a reigning queen having a girlfriend or not getting married... It would have the potential to be so amusing and sentimental.

I've craven this from day one tbh.

For some reason, I always think of a 20ish year old female Aang who helps Elsa mastering her powers through meditation and spirituality, perhaps as they uncover the origin of Elsa's powers? Elsa is immediately drawn to her as she is everything she's not; warm confident and open, with sun kissed skin as she had spend her life among white sand and salty waves. Of course, Anna would be a meddler through all of this despise that her instincts are not always the best, but this time they might.

But really things get in high gear when the King of the Summer Isle's dies and a succession war erupts, which only ends when the surviving heirs join forces launching a campaign to conquer Arendelle. Elsa has to lead her people to war as she has still to master her powers and sort out her feelings for her tutor while keeping Anna safe without shitting her away, and her best chance to pull this off is having Hans on her side, of all people.

Romance! Political machinations! Anna being a meddler as she takes a level in badass! A chance at redemption for Hans! Dark magic and the revelation of Elsa's powers on a fanfic that will never be actually written!
