Are there people honestly saying that it's 'almost canon' or that there's 'evidence' for it in the canon and will yell at you if you say otherwise?
Just try telling an Ereri shipper that you don't think there really has yet been in canon a developed mutual relationship of serious love and trust between Eren and Levi and they will dogpile you with 'canon evidence' of how you're wrong.
