Re: Adulting That You Can't Do
I have trouble bringing myself to spray bugs, even though insects and spiders creep me out. Part of this is just that I don't like getting near the bug, the other is a knowledge that the spray is poison and what if I breath it in or get it on a surface food may later end up on?
I also have issues with using a container that's been recently bleached (and the jug I make iced tea in needs it every so often because tea stains), and doing anything that gets me near running water during electrical storms, but in both cases I can get through it.
I may or may not still have problems walking over bridges due to my fear of heights, but there are a few bridge-like structures I use semi-frequently (pedestrian overpasses at bus stations) that I get through just fine, though I think it's because they are closed in, even if they're glass-sided. I would probably have problems if they were open.
