Are they in the same cage? I think it depends on the type of hamster, but some hamsters can't be kept together -- once they reach a certain age, they start attacking one another. The females tend to injure the males...

They are now, yes. They were kept together before (I never had hamsters before). I'll keep an eye out on their behaviour, but I can't really separate them right now.
