I THINK they're both female, but not an expert on hamster genitals. I've been told they're firm the same nest, but one seems bigger than the other so I'm not sure. I can't separate them at the moment as it's the only cage I could get my hands on so short notice. I an get something to gnaw on tomorrow, as well as some nesting stuff.

They're more plush, shorter hair

Well, most of the males I've seen, it was pretty obvious that they were male, so I'd wager that they're both female? (I mean, they might not be, but most of the dude hamsters I've seen have had very obvious genitalia. >_>)

Fair enough. I'm sure they can wait one day.

And they sound adorable!

If they're anything like mice, I'd recognize a male. They seem to mostly ignore each other. Well, we'll see. I could technically compartmentalize this cage.
And yes they're cute!

I haven't seen enough mice to comment, so I'll take your word for it! And compartmentalizing the cage for now sounds like a good idea to me. :3
