Exactly. If you're fat because you eat too much then it's okay, but god forbid you're a smoker, a drinker or *gasp* a drug user. I've even seen people hating on coffee, of all things.

Second hand smoke is a thing you know? And is especially dangerous for the most vulnerable part of the society(childrens,elders,sick people,etc). Also, drinking can be really dangerous is you convine it with driving. And alot of violent crimes ocurr under the influence of drugs.

I understand that, but acknowledging that the actions of some smokers/drinkers/drug-users are harmful to others and being scornful and disdainful toward all of them as if they were a hivemind are two different things.

And you have to understand that some people has been really affected by smokers/drinkers/drug-users. If you lose someone close to you by a drunk driver, I bet you're are gonna have some prejuice for drunkers. Same if you have a child with asthma or if a drug-abuser hurt you.

no. i do not have a prejudice toward drinkers, smokers, or drug users despite my bad experiences with a small percenatge of them -- cousin killed by drunk driver; asthma exacerbated by my parenys' smoking; family negatively impacted by my cousin's drug addiction. this is because i am able to make a distinction between them and those who /haven't/ done shitty things.
