I have a friend that's trying to pull me into the fandom, and I really want nothing to do with it. I'm a pretty casual fan of the show, and she seems to think that since I enjoy it on any level, that must mean that I'm down with the balls-to-the-wall feels-a-thon complete with applying every song in the world to characters and roleplaying and the whole nine yards. And I'm just...not interested.

Also, I daren't tell her that I don't ship her OTP, hahaha.

You are making a wise choice. I observe the fandom from the fringes (I enjoy some of the meta and some of the fics) but get in too deep and it's pretty scary.
