Jared has a permanent case of foot-in-mouth syndrome. I don't think he meant his twitter comment in a malicious way, but he could have worded things better.

As I've said before, I've dealt with family who has had addictions and there has been anger and sadness and I do think at times, stupidity on their part. However, as I don't know PSH and his complete drug history, no one can besides family & friends can fully comment on his passing.

To me, what happened was sad. Not just for him, but for his family and young children. Addiction is a rough path and unless you know a person, you don't know the road that lead to addiction and what struggles they faced trying to overcome it. From what I read, PSH backslid and unfortunately met his end.

His tweet doesn't bother me much either as I've felt a range of emotions dealing with others addictions (generally anger and sadness). It's more his permanent foot-in-mouth syndrome that irks me.

Well, I hope this post helped you out. Whenever I read posts about addiction I get all frustrated too, so I get it.
