(Anonymous) 2014-02-05 06:32 am (UTC)(link)1. Anna probably wasn't totally restricted to inside the castle. She was likely allowed to leave without guards.
2. Anna was lonely anyway because her best friend, her sister, wouldn't talk to her and even if she tried making friends outside the walls, well, she's royalty, and probably didn't consider her subjects potential friends, as well as it being hard to talk to someone with guards everywhere.
3. Even if Anna wasn't supposed to leave, it wasn't Elsa who created the rules, and Anna never says Elsa enforced them. The castle is her home, she doesn't want to leave, and Elsa has had it knocked into her brain she's not safe to leave.
