I don't share this particular sentiment, but I can never bring myself to like ladies who get pregnant. I don't think it's wrong or even particularly gross, it's just... a bunch of feelings and events that make absolutely no sense to me. I lose contact with the character when their pregnancy is described in any great detail.

Maybe it's because I absolutely have no desire to get pregnant myself idk
In the character's position I'd be like 'omg what is this nooo everything but this please make it stop' and I'm projecting like mad

Same, also I don't particularly think it's romantic, so it sort of kills the couple for me.

I don't usually like the writing for pregnant characters. It also doesn't help that, when a character becomes pregnant, everything seems to revolve around their pregnancy. I understand it involves a pretty big lifestyle change, but it's just not that interesting to me.

I actually like pregnancy stories in theory, but I don't like this tendency, either. It's true to life / character in some cases, not in others.
