Don't take your baby to a movie. Get your husband to watch the kid(s) while you go with a friend.

I go to early morning weekday showings because they're cheap. They're also usually packed because they're cheap.

NO ONE wants to suffer through a movie with a crying child any more than they want to suffer through someone texting or talking during a movie.

Seriously. If my husband wasn't willing to watch the kids for 3 hours, I don't think I'd be happy with him. I probably wouldn't do something he wanted me to do.

Seriously, reading this thread makes me so happy my local movie theatre does not allow kids under 3.

My main movie theater is generally populated with the over 65 set, but I also haven't seen any child-centric movies there. A different theater of the same chain also offers a Mom-showing for newer moms. The theater advertises it as a Mom showing, so you know what you're getting yourself into.
