Before I got diagnosed with fibro, I had an ER doctor say to me, "Oh are you sure you didn't just pull a muscle?"

Yes, I pulled a muscle. For four years straight. All over my body. :|

Sadly that doesn't surprise me. Fibro seems to bring out the dumb in people for some reason. The first specialist I went to told me that he didn't see anything wrong with me, so I might "just have to live with" the pain for the rest of my life. I was 18. He couldn't figure out why I burst into tears in his office.
